Hello. Hi. How are you? I haven’t done this blog thing in a while. I actually started writing some blogposts on my recent projects, but they’re all still “work in progress”. I guess you’ll need to wait a little more for the nitty-gritty details or nerdy behind-the-scenes. But they’re coming… at some point.

Meanwhile, I thought it could be interesting to start a series where I share some cool stuff that I’ve seen lately. Anything goes: articles, videos, books, products, music, movies, TV shows, etc. – as long as I like it, it will (hopefully) find its way here.

NOW, WHERE TO START…

MUSIC

  • JIMEK – Sexify : Another young adult show dropped on Netflix recently (something alone the lines of “Sex Education”), and when I saw that JIMEK has made the score for it – I instantly went to listen to it. And he did not disappoint. Just listen to the grooves! They’re so good!

Maybe don’t listen to it with your volume cranked up to 11? At least at first…

READING (DO NOT CONFUSE WITH READING)

  • Signal Instagram ads controversy : Love how simple in concept and exposing those ads are. Big companies know A LOT about us. This is a great concept to show people HOW MUCH they actually know. When you think about it and OSINT, things start to click. I have many interests (probably too many) and one of them is cybersecurity – or lack thereof. It’s mind boggling to think how much info you can get about a person from simple day-to-day activities.

BLIPS AND BLOOPS

  • Sassy : A spreadsheet synthesizer. Yes, I know how it sounds. It’s honestly so bonkers that it’s amazing. I know some nerds amongst will love this.

  • Sonic Charge’s Patternarium v2 : This is simply amazing concept. A giant collaborative patch randomizer. Patterns are created by the princibles of evolution and people can vote on them. All algorithmically generated on the server – even the names! And because it’s been through several generations already, it have learned a lot about “what makes the pattern good”. The best part is – if you have Microtonic, you can download those patches and use them straight away. Even without the VST - instantly inspiring.

RANDOM STUFF

I think that will do it for the first issue. Start small, and all that… I’ll see you all on the other side!
